Designed by Doug Peterson, manufactured by Sparcaft (Fr), custom, one of a kind former, well known IOR racer with solid rod rigging and full aluminum hull. This very solid piece of hardware I’m offering with a heavy heart. It’s one of a kind and was build when cost for material were neglectable. Rigging is solid rod, boat has additional backstays, main backstay, boom vang and checkstay are hydraulic. The boat needs a refit but most parts of it have been done already and a lot of material was bought. Electric wiring has been completely replaced, cockpit drainage has been renewed as well. Hydraulic lines and fittings have been uniformly replaced by stainless steel tubes/ fittings. Boat comes with own mooring (no mooring fees, monthly cost only harbor master – $20) and a complete sail plan with sails which are in good condition and a lot of life left. Needs bottom job soon, structurally in good condition, no pitting, cockpit drain exit very solid, no serious corrosion especially at this sensible part of the boat. Until 2021 the boat has been in fresh-water for 6 month/ year and 6 month in a heated hall. Sailplan includes asym. and sym. Spinackers, storm sails, various jibs for the bow-sprit and the boat comes with a huge list of additional hardware which I got from the previous owner who was a marina entrepreneur. Boat was and is registered in Michigan/ USA. Registration fees every 3 years ~250$US. If there is serious interest contact me and I will give you a detailed, clear overview. In essence I’m looking for a buyer who is aware of the true and not the market value of it. Production cost today for the same boat would be in the whoopy range of 700-900kUS.
